They have been a big help to me in the past. Since you know the date it won't be hard to find, IF an obituary was published. But have patience, sometimes it takes awhile for the staff to get to all the requests sent in. If they email you a copy I believe it is still free. Good Luck. Craft is listed in the Xenia Daily gazette as having died on March 5, 1969. It is the paper for March 6, 1969. It is listed with the deaths, but under the Dayton area deaths. It says: Craft, Milton C., 85, of 2479 Nill Ave., yesterday; funeral 10:00 AM Saturday (Tobias). My assumption is that Tobias means the funeral home/mortuary. I can not find the full obituary, I have newspaperarchive.com, and can't find it. Maybe I am looking at the wrong place, but I need it. Is New Philadelphia close to there? His brother, Joseph's obit says he lived in New Philadelphia, OH. Does someone in this area have access to some old funeral home records? Thanks in advance. They are listed as being married in the 1920 Census and then disappear. In 1930 Laura Lemon is listed as widow. I'm hoping if the marriage took place in Dayton, Laura's parents may be listed in the marriage record. Any help most appreciated.
