    1. Re: [MONTGOMERY_CO_OH] Obits being posted
    2. Lisa Grimes
    3. Good afternoon everyone, Thes Obits may not be of interest to some of you...but they're important and are being added to our Archive...for everyone's benefit. As soon as the bulk of these finishes hitting the list...it will slow down, to just occassionally. These are really too important to not see posted. In the meantime...if they don't interest you.....just delete them. If you're subbed in loose email format...you might consider digest format. It's a whole lot easier to delete one...rather than so many loose posts. Have a great day, Lisa Grimes ---------------------- GRIMES DNA Coordinator Always hunting my husband's Montgomery, Darke, Miami and other Co's. 1. Re: [MONTGOMERY_CO_OH] obituaries
    2. I have also wondered about these obits as these are copyrighted material--either the newspaper has the copyright or the families--it depends on whether the obits are offered as a free service by the newspaper or the families pay for obit insertions. This may be a copyright violation. Plus it is very easy these days to access current obits, so I do not see the need to put them on the Montgomery site.
