    3. This web site shows where it is located. I believe it is now called Quaker cemetery. http://brookville.dcoweb.org/twp/clay.htm The Dayton Metro Library and the Brookville Historical Society both have inscriptions for the cemetery. Or know where to find them? Isaac Thomas and wife, Mary supposedly buried there along with son John and wife Anna Pemberton. Looking for info on where church/cemetery was located on lot. There seems to be a small hill on the East end of lot. I have heard stories about what happened to the stones from the cemetery such as being thrown along the railroad tracks. Did anyone photograph the stones before this happened? Who is the present owner of the land now? Does it belong to the village or the farm behind? 1. Re: [MONTGOMERY_CO_OH] Michael family census early 1800's
    2. Annette Stewart
    3. Can someone please do a look-up in the census for a Jacob Michael married to Sarah Rynard in 1814 in Preble Co., OH? Jacob born around 1790. They lived in Lanier Twp., Preble Co., OH but trying to track them, if they came to Montgomery Co., OH before coming to Darke Co., OH. Son was Peter married to Susanna Gower, my line. Eight other children. Deeds start for Darke Co., OH for in 1840's. Can someone please check deeds between 1820-1840? There are Michael's in Montgomery Co., OH but don't know if connected. Also, check if Michael's that are older that could possibly be Jacob's parents/siblings. Is there a place to check Mont. Co. census on line? (or deeds/obits) Thanks, Annette

David Miller (born July 22, 1827in OH - Died May 22, 1895 in SD) married a Mary Copp (born abt 1830) before 1850 probably in Ohio??. I think her mother was Sarah ( ) Cap/Cop born abt 1803 in PA?? They were found 1850 - Montgomery County, Jackson twp., OH David Miller 23 OH (Student), Mary Miller 20 OH In 1860 they were found 1860 - Miami County, Perry twp., Village of Stockdale, IN David Miller 31 OH (Physician), Mary Miller 29 OH Ellen 9 OH, George 7 OH, Milvina 4 IN, Sarah Cap / Cop 57 PA I am assuming Mary died between 1860 and 1862. Milvina must have died between 1860 and 1870 (I had no idea about Milvina until I seen the 1860 census). I have no idea what happened to Sarah Cap/Cop. In 1870 David had remarried to Sarah Jane Warner. and was found 1870 Census- Marshall County, West twp. P.O. - Plymouth, IN David Miller 43OH (Physician), Sarah J. Miller 33 OH George 17 OH, Laura 8 IN, Lizzie 6, Emma 2, William 7 mos. Ellen may have been the Ellen Miller who married Jacob Burn in Marshall County in 1868. George Miller married Sara Alice Holem in Marshall county, Indiana in 1883, shortly thereafter the George and the David Miller families moved to Brule County, South Dakota. I was told that the Millers and Holem/Holms were of the Dunkard religion. Any help on these people would be very much appreciated, I would be willing to share what I have on them. 3. Well, I just visit the Bearcreek Cemetery to take more photos, but I am sorry to say that the older part of the cemetery has deteriorated so much since I last was there a couple years ago. Many more older stones are knocked down and just about all the older stones are now unreadable. The acid rain and elements are really playing havoc on these stones. I haven’t look at the photos yet, but I am sure you can’t make out most of them. What a shame. That cemetery has a lot of the early settlers of Montgomery County. Location: Off Rt. 35, out of Drexel. Actually it was a Bond Agreement that was filed on March 13, 1827. (See attachments). It didn't give much genealogical information, but Peter was deceased, so it narrows his death date to probably late 1826 or early 1827...not long after Phebe was born. Susannah was the executrix, but there were (2) men who also signed the agreement with her. David Bailey and John Anderson. Don't know who they were...relatives of Susannah maybe...or not! David M.
