Hello to all, We, at one time, lived next door to a lady, who had been a member of the Oberer family. I "googled" the name and found they still have a business, located on Troy (202) near Stanley. I did find the death certificate on teh LDS site. I am hoping that the obit will tell me if there are other family members that I am unaware of. My step-father is eager to take a trip to Dayton with me in a month or two. Because his father died when he when just a baby, he knows very little about his fathers family. I am hoping to find more info and perhaps contact any family members that the obit helps me to locate. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. The library can also generally provide copies, but it may take them a week or longer... The library holds many Dayton and Montgomery county books, plus microfilm of most of the holdings at the local records center which is in the Reibold Building downtown.... (Reibold is only open like 8:30 to 4:30 Mon thru Fri, so the library access is better in that regard) Have you found William's death certificate at the LDS site? Oh... there's a list of researchers for hire at the Montgomery County Genealogy Society website... Google "OHMONTGS" and i think there's a link on the left side that says "researchers" Steve Koons, Dayton, Ohio Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
