Sophia Schilling was her mother and lived with them after they wed. It just so happens that all my papers on this family is at my work and I can write again on monday when I know more. I do however know that when my ggggrandmother (Sophia Schilling) passed, Joseph had her buried in our family plot here in Columbus and his address at the time was 1047 Pritz Ave in Dayton. But would you mind looking up a death certificate for his wife Josephine Miller Lehman. Josephine was born 1877 IN. I know for a fact that she was living in 1956 in Dayton, Mongtomery Co., OH, because of her sisters obit mentions Josephine being alive. Josephine had twin sisters that was alive in 1961 Nora Nellie had died. and Cora Belle died in 1964. Jospehine was not mention on either obit. So I assume that Josephine had died before 1961. Josephine had 12 sibilings. And she was number five. The children I have for Josephine and Anthony are Hazel, Carl, Mary, Arthur and Dorothy. I'm not for sure on some of the names. I now have a new lead that I need help with. An uncle of mine stated that the badge may have come from the old Workhouse in Dayton, Ohio. He said it was a minimum security prison which would lead me to believe that was the origins of the badge. No one seems to have seen a badge like it before, so I'm hoping the Workhouse angle is correct. If you have any information on the Workhouse, photos that may show guards, etc. or know where I might find this information, please let me know. Thank you!
