Which family are you refering to with an Albion 1852-1897. Technically that could be my Albion if he is married to Anna Grace Cass, his parents are John Porter Reed and Adaline Ann Brown. My Albion's children are Lena B, Eo, and Arthur B Reed. Thanks again! Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I wish I could find Albino's death certificate. The family story is that he died by 1900 but I have no proof. I worked with a OH university that had some death records and they found one for an Albion Reed but the person was only 24 when he died and worked for the railroad in KY. Can you suggest any way to search for more information on the Dayton Albion to see if he identity can be confirmed? He is listed in the Cincinnatti City directory for 1893 as a forman of a stock room for Helming McNamara Shoe Company. My grandfather was born in 1892 in Cincinnatti. After that he seems to just disappear. His wife and children are in German Twp Montgomery Co living with her parents along with her 3 children. She is listed as a widow. I have never been able to find death record for him. I have recently found him or who I think is him in the William's Dayton Directory for 1892-93 and 1894-95. This Albion is listed as a stock fitter. I never knew of my great grandfather being in Dayton. Now my question is can someone help me attempt to determine if the Albion B in Dayton is my great grandfather. Albion was married in 1884 to Anna G Cass. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thank you, nrevans Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Where can I find a listing of the Ehrstine cemetery in Madison Twp? Thanks Barbara Besecker Asst. Archivist, Local History Library Webmaster www.tdn-net.com/genealogy Administrator OHMIAMI, WACKLER, BESECKER, LACHAT, ELSMAN, DEMOSS
If you are over 60 years of age you probably remember a radio show called "I Love A Mystery". I enjoyed the show but I now have my own mystery that I don't enjoy! You might be able to help solve this mystery for me by checking your genealogy database to see if you have a gentleman who died before 1822 and left a widow by the name of Elizabeth who was born in PA in 1777. Elizabeth (no maiden name or previously married name) married our George Kester, Sr ca 1821. George and Elizabeth had a son, Daniel Kester, born in April, 1822 in Montgomery Co, OH. They possibly had another son as the 1830 Census of German Twp, Montgomery Co, OH lists with them two males under the age of 10. George and Elizabeth plus their family moved to German Twp, Darke Co, OH in 1837. George and Elizabeth both died in 1838 and are buried in the Palestine Cemetery. Jo Kester
