He married FRANCES ELIZABETH MALSON, daughter of GEORGE MALSON and ELIZA PIERCE. She was born December 29, 1862 in Decater, Illnois, and died May 30, 1917 in Near Albany (Gentry County), Missouri, USA. Children of JAMES SEXTON and FRANCES MALSON are: 2. i. BESSIE MAUDE2 SEXTON, b. October 14, 1881, Genrty County, Missouri, USA; d. June 18, 1967, Plain View Rest Home, City ofAlbany, County of Gentry, State of Missouri. ii. EARL SEXTON.
