Other information I have about him and his family is as follows. His father was William Cox and his mother was Mary Lang Stafford Cox. Mrs. Stafford married William Cox in Morgan County, IN. Her children by Andrew Stafford included Rose Ann who married James M. Adams. The James M and Rose Ann Adams nee Stafford family who are enumerate in Marion Twp., Harrison County, MO in both 1880 and 1900. They were originally from Morgan County, IN. Rose Ann Stafford was the daughter of Andrew Stafford and Mary Polly Stafford nee Lang who later married William Cox. Mary and Andrew Stafford had a daughter Elizabeth who was deaf. She was the mother of 3 girls Emma b. 1866 in IN, Annie b. 1868 in IN and Ida b. 1875 in IN. Elizabeth had a half brother named Lafayette Cox who was the son of Mary Lang Stafford and William Cox. He was born 23 Oct 1858 in IN and was enumerated in 1880 in Harrison County, MO with his mother and sister. He eventually died in 1915 in Lebanon, Red Willow County, NE. I would appreciate any help at all with any of these people. Thanks Sharlene Miller
