The parents of Nancy KERLEY are believed to be Larkin KERLEY and Sarah WALKER. Joel and Nancy had these children: Larkin b. abt. 1830 in NC, md. Jane ADKINS. William Riley b. abt 1832 in NC, no further information. Franklin Alexander b. 1 Mar 1834 in Buncombe Co., NC, md. 1) Polly PARTON 2) Adaline BURNETT, went to KS. James Monroe b. 1 Apr 1837 in Buncombe Co., NC, md. Mary Ann CRAVENS. Sarah E. b. abt 1838 in NC, md. Lafayette SPENCER. Fadelia b. abt. 1839 in NC, died young. Polly Serina b. abt. 1841 in NC, died young. Nancy Clarissa b. abt. 1842 in NC, md. Nathaniel BLUNT in Nodaway Co., MO, went to KS. Elijah Mitchell b. 2 Feb 1842 in Burke Co., NC, md.
