The MOZINGO-L list serve ([email protected]) is pursueing a project to test DNA of Mozingo males. The purpose is to find the origin of the family name and possibly the country from which the original Mozingos came. Anyone who is interested, please go to [email protected] and ask any questions you wish about the project. So far, there are no males from the Allen or Silas Mozingo families who settled in Nodaway county in 1836 or 1840.
