Posted on: Nodaway Co Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Nodaway/10943 Surname: ------------------------- Maggie, I am not a Walker/Maines descendant and so far I haven't located any, although that is my goal. I belong to another branch of the Walker family. William Henry Walker's gr-grandfather, Benjamin Walker (1757-1821), and my 4th gr-grandfather, Ebenezer Walker Jr. (1765-1833) were brothers raised in Bucks Co., PA to Quaker parents, Ebenezer (c1731-1807) and Hannah (Burson) (1724-aft1767) Walker. I am researching the lines of all Ebenezer's children from both wives. Ebenezer married Diana Ball after Hannah's death and had at least 2 more children besides the 10 to which Hannah gave birth. My information about William and Mary Ann (Molly) came from _History of the Descendants of John Hottel_ (1930) by Rev. W.D. Huddle and Lulu May Huddle. I will contact you and send you the information it contains and any other details you'd like. In some instances, the Huddle book lists spouses and children for Molly and William's children. I did not know about the Nodaway County article and would appreciate having a copy. Also didn't know about the brothers moving to Colorado, although one of their aunts, Mary Ann Walker Drennan (1848-1901)died in Colorado Springs. William Henry Walker had 9 brothers and sisters and it appears most of them remained around Burlington Junction. Thanks for confirming my hunch!
