Stephenson started a new paper called the Guilford Herald-Barnard Rustler in April, 1894. Frank Griffith started a new paper called The Advertiser in Maryville, ca. December of 1885.. My gr-gr-grandparents were David & Louisa Temple Griffith Stephenson of Nodaway County during that time period that the newspapers were started. Does anyone have any information on the parents and/or siblings or spouses of G. W. Stephenson or Frank Griffith? Would appreciate any information as to the duration of both newspapers.
