His son, Homer Carl Cross was my Grandfather. As you may know, John Wesley Cross died at the age of 87 in 1942. For a time he lived with my grandfather in Nebraska. My grandfather was a section foreman on the C.B.&Q. railroad and lived in a number of locations in Nebraska before retiring in Milford, NE. Homer Carl Cross died on December 18, 1979, at the age of 87. I believe that John Wesley Cross lived with several of his children in his later years. As you probably also know, his wife divorced him and he never remarried. I am curious as to which of my grandfather's siblings was your grandparent.
