John B. Shroyer (about 1872 Elm Creek Township, Marshall Co., KS) is the son of James (b 9-30-1841 Thornville, Perry Co., Ohio; d 1923 Marshall Co., KS) and wife Sarah (born about 1846 in WI). James is a son of Phillip and Catherine (Lash) Shroyer who came to KS inthe 1850's. There were several Shroyer families that made the OK land rush. James brother Frank Benjamin (b 3-30-1855 Ohio) and wife Minerva Gabriella King (b 8-15-1870), and sister Mary (b 1862 in KS, d 1929 in OK ) who married William Binder (b 7-7-1861 in IA, d 1949 in OK) are the ones I have inforamtion on. I have the complete list of the Phillip Shroyer and Catherine Lash families for several generations. I do not have any additoinal information on John B. and Minnie, but I do have birth dates for John's two brothers and sister. If you still have to photo album I would love to have a copy of the picture of John and Minnie. If you can scan it that would be the easiest way to send it.
