Ellis in the 1850 Nodaway Co. census, who is most likely my paternal gggggrandfather, and it has an Emily & William living in his household (sister and nephew maybe?). I believe John Ellis may have been married to Mary Martin, but don't know much more than that. I descend from his son, John Caldwell/Coldwell Ellis, who married Mary Ann Evans, then Blanche Settles, and died in Independence, MO. Would like to share info if this is anyones line; any help would be wonderful!! I can do a little research too, if anyone needs it for this Ellis line.
