Cause I think that my gr gr grandoarents are John Woods & Vienna Herrick in Patroit, Switzerland County, Indiana, 1850 census. Vienna Herrick, mother was Alice Wade. John Woods, I think was born in Virginia between 1809 & 1813. And their son Frank Woods is my gr grandfather and I think he dropped the (s) off the name, when he came to Missouri, but not real sure when he did dropped the (s) ? I found her in the 1900 census living with her brother John W. S. Bland in Hopkins, Nodaway, Missouri. She was 64 years old and John was 57. I have found that John and his mother Emily are buried in the Cox Cemetery in the county of Nodaway but cannot find Mary. Also does anyone have driving directions to Cox Cemetery? Donna, According to the Social Security Death Index, Lester G. Anderson died 28 Oct 1994. His last residence was Burlington Junction, MO. I'm not any relation to Mr. Anderson and unfortunately, I live in Florida or I'd be happy to try to get the obit for you. Maybe having the exact death date will help a little.
