Hi, I would like to correspond with anyone researching one of the early Nodaway County MO settlers named Jim Bryant. He was living about 3 miles west of Arkoe on the White Cloud in 1840 according to early history accounts. He was supposed to be 1/4 Indian. I am interested in knowing what tribe his heritage was and what happened to him and his family. I don't see them on the 1850 census. Thanks Karren A.

I should have sent this email last Friday when I received the correspondence about a request I had made for information on my Cooper/Engle line. This person sent GREAT information which lead me to even more information. However, because of my procrastination I did not send an email to this person to thank them and let them know how much I appreciate their efforts to help me, and now the email is gone and I cant send them a simple email to thank them. If you are the person who sent me an email last week on my Cooper/Engle line could you please reply to this email? I feel really bad because I have been doing family history long enough to know that if someone helps I should at least say thank-you.... Kris of Kentucky.... __________________________________ Yahoo! Hello all, I am looking for information on my cooper/engle line. What I think I know is. Edith Cooper married Joseph Engle 1 Jul 1876 in either Worth or Nodaway CO's. They had 2 kids together before 1880. http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp (search argument is - first name = Edith last name = cooper spouse Joseph last name Engle) They are on 1880 census in Nodaway, MO. This census also says Edith's parents were from PA. By 1900 they are in AZ with 3 more children, all girls. (http://www.sharlot.org/cgi-bin/census.pl) What I am trying to find out is where in Missouri is Edith is from, Here death cert only says MO, and definatly more information on her parents. (http://genealogy.az.gov/azdeath/011/10110331.pdf). Her parents names were, Dad's name as Joseph Cooper and moms name as Sarah Worth. If someone could give me hand tracking down more of the Cooper line.... I would be so greatfull.... Thanks in advance..
