    2. I am descended from Joshua Frazee and Anna Pittman Frazee. Their daughter Charlotte's second husband was a Henry Neal, and they married in 1859. They had a son named Henry b. about 1869. Were you inquiring about the son or the father? I do not know the death date or burial place of Charlotte. My grandfather was her brother William, who lived in a house across the street (west) from the old St. Francis Hospital, where I was born. I have copies of many records of Joshua Frazee. You mentioned the White Oak Cemetery northeast of Pickering. I am not familiar with that. Do you know the burial place of Charlotte? Mary was born 1892, married to Carl Robert Haupt. It appears they divorced, he may have had some type of mental problem based on a slight "reference" I saw one time. I expect Mary remarried but I'm having no luck finding when or to whom, when or where she died, etc. Any assistance or little bit of info would be appreciated. Speedy

    3. Posted on: Nodaway Co Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Nodaway/10945 Surname: MAINES, WALKER, MCCREA, FOSTER ------------------------- Elaine, I will be glad to send you a copy of what I have. The Nodaway County History has the names of all the children and also a picture of their daughter Anna WALKER. Last summer I had an opportunity to go through an aunt's family pictures and I,m quite certain that there some of William and Molly's daughters although they are not identified. I also have a studio picture of William WALKER. I would be glad to share that with anyone who is interested. There are quite a number of pictures of, presumably family members, that are not identified. They were taken in studios in Burlington Junction and Maryville, Missouri. I would like to have more information about their spouses and children. Maggie

    3. Posted on: Nodaway Co Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Nodaway/10943 Surname: ------------------------- Maggie, I am not a Walker/Maines descendant and so far I haven't located any, although that is my goal. I belong to another branch of the Walker family. William Henry Walker's gr-grandfather, Benjamin Walker (1757-1821), and my 4th gr-grandfather, Ebenezer Walker Jr. (1765-1833) were brothers raised in Bucks Co., PA to Quaker parents, Ebenezer (c1731-1807) and Hannah (Burson) (1724-aft1767) Walker. I am researching the lines of all Ebenezer's children from both wives. Ebenezer married Diana Ball after Hannah's death and had at least 2 more children besides the 10 to which Hannah gave birth. My information about William and Mary Ann (Molly) came from _History of the Descendants of John Hottel_ (1930) by Rev. W.D. Huddle and Lulu May Huddle. I will contact you and send you the information it contains and any other details you'd like. In some instances, the Huddle book lists spouses and children for Molly and William's children. I did not know about the Nodaway County article and would appreciate having a copy. Also didn't know about the brothers moving to Colorado, although one of their aunts, Mary Ann Walker Drennan (1848-1901)died in Colorado Springs. William Henry Walker had 9 brothers and sisters and it appears most of them remained around Burlington Junction. Thanks for confirming my hunch!

Yes, your Mary Ann MAINS is my Molly MAINES, daughter of Elihu MAINES and Margaret B. FOSTER. I have her birth date listed as January 30, 1848 in Brownsburg, Hendricks County, IN. She married William H. WALKER December 24, 1868, Nodaway County, MO. I have a copy of an article from a Nodaway County history book about them. It also contains pictures of them and their family. I would very much like to correspond with any descendants of theirs. My grandmother was Maggie MAINES, a niece of Molly and Will WALKER. The story I have indicates that a son, Charles E. WALKER and a brother, name not given, moved to Colorado and ranched with Charles and family returning to Nodaway County. Charles married Eva A. GAUGH and had one daughter, Pauline Frances. Molly had 4 brothers, Andrew J. MAINES, b. 1850, IN, d Nodaway County, MO. [I believe he was the first person buried in the Dawson Cemetery, I have that date as 1881 but I am not sure that I have it correct] William Cass MAINES b. 1853, IN and d. 1933, Nodaway Co. MO, He married Elizabeth Jane BAILEY [they were my ggrandparents] John W. MAINES b about 1856 IN. Theodore MAINES B 1858, IN. married Mary Eva McClain. Margaret B. MAINES remarried after the death of her first husband, Elihu. She married Duncan V. MCCREA in 1867 and they had one son Wellington MCCREA. I would like to have more information on Mary Ann's [Molly's] mother, Margaret B. FOSTER, MAINES, MCCREA's parents and siblings. I also need more information on Molly's father, Elihu MAINES and his parents and siblings. All responce will be appreciated.
