They had one daughter that I am aware of, Eliza or Elizabeth Sexton born 1860 who married Alexander Horn. Nancy died in 1899 and James in1910. Both are buried in the Lamar Cemetery. Could Sexton possibly be a spelling variation of Sexson? If any connection please let me know. I would like to correspond with any descendants of these couples.

She may know the answer to your question because she lived in Maryville during that time and her mother's maiden name was Maxwell. Paul MAXWELL was a cousin of my mother Eva EDWARDS. Paul was probably born around 1905. He was a photographer, but I'm not sure he had a studio. I recently purchased a postcard that is embossed with the words "Maxwell Studio." The postcard is supposed to be from Missouri and shows a large building with many early 1900s cars parked in front - maybe one of the University buildings.

I would LOVE to know who they are! Somebody else MUST have a copy of this photo somewhere! PLEASE HELP!! >From my home page, go to "Family Photos" and then down to the "People and Places" section. 3. Posted on: Nodaway Co Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Mo/Nodaway/10973 Surname: Batson, Robison ------------------------- Well I admit ...you have me stumped! My William M. Batson born 1825 in White Co, IL came to Worth and Nodaway counties in 1869 from Marshall Co, IA. Researching the Batson surname in both counties, I have only found listings relating to my Batsons, nothing of your Andrew J. Batson and daughter Rebecca. Have you found them on a census? Where did you find their birth dates and birth places? My William's father William Batson Sr. of Edwards Co, IL was born in W VA. so it is possiable your Andrew might be a nephew to my William Sr and a cousin to my William M Batson. It will take a bit of researching to see if this connection is in fact there. With your Margret Robison I am afraid I don't see any direct connection. They was a Robison family in Gentry County that she might very well be connected to. My Robison's were all from PA>OH>WI>MO. Please keep me posted if you come across any additional information that might help in the connections. I will keep your information in my files as well. You never can tell when a lead will pop up! P.S.Thanks for the compliment on my web site. It has been a rather large project, but a true labor of love!
