Unless it has disappeared in the last couple of weeks, it has been at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~monfamilies/mon_fh.prts.htm (if this appears in two parts, put them together before looking for it -- and there is an underline between "mon" and "fh.prts.htm" at the end of it.) I only need information for the time period this family lived in Monmouthshire shown below. Husband: Thomas DAVIES - born about 1834 at Neath, Glamorgan, occupation Engine Fitter Wife: Elizabeth DAVIES - born 1826 at Bishopston, Glamorgan Children: Edward Thomas DAVIES - born 1862, Llangyfelach, Glamorganshire Albert John DAVIES - born 1865, Merthry Tydfil, Glamorganshire Edith Jordan DAVIES - born 1868, Rhymney, Monmouthshire Census: 1871: Living on Jerusalem Street, Rumney, Monmouthshire 1881: Living on Glantorvaen Terrace, Blaenavow, Monmouthshire (1891: an Edward DAVIES age 19 died at Bedwelty.possibly the son?) 1891: Living on Station Terrace, Blackwood, Monmouthshire (Only Thomas, Elizabeth & Edith are here. I haven't located Edward or Albert this year.) 1895 - Between 1891 and 1895 Elizabeth must have died. An Anita Victoria DAVIES was born in 1895. Her birth certificate says her father is Thomas DAVIES and her mother is "Annie DAVIES late HARPER, formerly NELMES", and they are living at Brook Cottage in Blackwood, U.S.D. So, Thomas must have remarried, but I haven't been able to match him up with Annie Davies/Harper/Nelmes. Nor, can I find them on any further census reports. 1901: Anita V. DAVIES is living with her sister Edith (now Edith DAVIES CHAPPELL) on High Street in Blackwood, Monmouthshire. 1903 - Anita V. DAVIES immigrated to the US with her sister Edith's family. I'd like to find out death/burial date/MI information for Thomas, Elizabeth, Annie, Edward, and Albert Davies. Also, marriage information on Thomas and Annie Davies/Harper/Nelmes between 1891 and 1895. Thank you for your help.
