    3. Good-morning Monmouthshire List! I'm a Glam Lister who has just popped over the border to solicit your help. I have a Glamorgan MI for an Elisabeth POWELL, who died in 1852, which tells me that she was the 'daughter of the late Rev. Thomas MORRIS of Newport' . The 1851 census tells me that Elisabeth/Elizabeth was born in 'Abertrinant, Carmarthenshire' ca. 1810. The place does not appear to exist - perhaps it should be Abertrinant, Merionethshire, or maybe a large house or farm name in Carmarthenshire - still to be resolved??? I have found what I believe to be Elizabeth's marriage in Newport in 1850 and have just ordered the certificate, which may help me a little more on her/her father's origins. Meanwhile, I am wondering whether the name Rev. Thomas MORRIIS of Newport rings any bells with Mon Listers. From the scanty evidence I am assuming that he was probably born around 1780 +/- 10 years and that he was a Vicar or minister of some denomination in Newport for several years in the 1840's, I can see no sign of him in the 1851 census so I assume he had died by then. I would appreciate any suggestions. Best regards, Ron
