Thanks Steve I did go to the church one time but it was locked and the minister was on holiday and couldn’t find anyone with a key . The photos are brilliant just what I need to go with his soldiers record its so interesting reading his record. He was but in 14 days detention one time for wearing another soldiers boots and my mother had said that my grandmother had to send him another pair He served from 16 April 1914 and died on April 12 1918 no known grave but was in battle where out of 500 only 150 survived. He died in Belgium and is on a panel there and I have photos of this because my daughter took her children there to see it so it will be really lovely to add the Trevethin once as well . He was born in Hampshire and the family moved to Blaenavon for work and after his death moved to Neath where I live Thank you again Althea -----Original Message----- From: monmouthshire-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:monmouthshire-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Steve Veysey Sent: 18 September 2012 16:58 To: monmouthshire@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MON] Trevethin Church Sent some images offline Steve ________________________________ From: althea.john <althea.john@ntlworld.com> To: monmouthshire@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, 18 September 2012, 15:43 Subject: [MON] Trevethin Church Does any have a photo they could send of the world war 1 soldiers plaque which is in the church my great uncle Clifford John Mills is on it ?
