G'day Gilian Have you tried the 1841 Census? I realise that it wouldn't be easy to find him but if you search for his mother, Gwenllian, there seems to be only one in the 1841 census of England and Wales. I don't have full access to Ancestry at present but if you haven't followed the trail maybe it might be rewarding. G'day Ray, Thanks for the suggestion. I have looked on Ancestry and Find My Past for Thomas, Gwenllian and Charles in 1841. I cannot find any of them on either. There is one Gwenllian married to a Daniel, so not a match. Ancestry has changed their site and it is much more time consuming and I find it lacks a lot of information so is quite frustrating.
