Hi Irene, I am very interested in harpists and have several books about them. Sorry to say I have not come across Joshua Williams, but I neither have I ever seen a reference to my grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Williams and her brother, James Williams, who were members of Lady Llanover's band of harpists! Joshua could well have played at Llanover House, Tredegar House, Cefn Mabli or Ruperra Castle. What sort of dates are we talking about? My grandmother was living in Llanover in the 1880s.
