Hi all I am back after some 8 years. Would some SKL have access to the Parish registers for Bassaleg/Basaleg Monmouthshire. If so I would like the details for the marriage of Henry Moody (born 1811) and Elizabeth Gainey on 15/5/1831. They are supposed to be on the Ancestry.com site but no searches can find them. Ian,   They did indeed marry on 15th May 1831, after Banns. They both signed, as opposed to making their mark. They were both from the parish and the witnesses were Wm Thomas and Filicea Anthony.
