    1. Re: [MON] Pictures of: Llandeilo (CMN);and Nantyglo (MON)
    2. I noticed on these pictures that there is a Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery that is old and in the town of Nantyglo wants to landscape it but the graves will have to be moved. They have to get permission from the living relatives and many of them are in America. I was wondering if there is a list of who is buried there somewhere on line? I had ancestors in the area and if any of mine are buried in this cemetery, I would gladly give my permission. I know that I am only one person but that is a start. My family was Stephens, Wall, Lloyd and Jenkins in the area. My family immigrated to the coal fields of north eastern Pennsylvania, USA in the 1880's and 1890's. I was noticing that the pictures of Nantyglo and looking up the valley road to Bryn Mawr where my ancestors lived looks so very very much like the Wyoming Valley area of north eastern Pennsylvania to where my grandparents immigrated to work in the coal mines!!!!! The houses are different but they did build them close to the road like that in this area of Pennsylvania. My husband who is from the mid western US always asks my why the houses in my home town in Pennsylvania were built so close to the road. Perhaps, for the same reason that they did here in this area here in Wales because they are some of the one's who built the homes in Pennsylvaina I sure do enjoy this pictures and view them each week! Also, why would they tear down a lovely old Baptist church? Take care, Janet
