They have to get permission from the living relatives and many of them are in America. I was wondering if there is a list of who is buried there somewhere on line? I had ancestors in the area and if any of mine are buried in this cemetery, I would gladly give my permission. I know that I am only one person but that is a start. =================== Dear Janet, My webpage featuring photographs of Nantyglo dates back to February 1999, almost exactly eight years ago. Whatever action the local council proposed in 1999 has no doubt taken place by now. According to its website (at www.rootsweb.com/~wlsgfhs/Sales/MIsAlpha.htm#N), Gwent Family History Society has published (on microfiche) the monumental inscriptions of the tombstones in Hermon Chapel graveyard, as Fiche 79, MI File 88.
