Pontlottyn was in Merthyr Tydfil registration district, parish of Gelligaer I think. In 1891 Lily WELTON (Ancestry thinks Wilton) was a servant at the Railway Inn, I School Street, Pontlottyn. The Innkeeper was quite a different William MORGAN . Francis James WELTON age 3 was living at 2 Watkins Court Pontlottyn with his grandparents David Thomas 46 Coalminer b Monmouth and Emily 43 b Middlesex Chiswick. Llanwenarth Ultra is the parish around Govilon, between Abergavenny and Brynmawr, extending up the mountain towards Blaenavon.
