Hello there I'm seeking information on the County Club in Newport. I don't know if it is still in existence but I'm pretty certain that in the early 1900's it was situated in Mill Street and was called THE MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY GENTLEMEN'S CLUB. I'm particularly interested in the 20 years ending 1910 but having said that any information would be very welcome even if it is modern times. My interest stems from the fact that a Great-uncle, Charles Arnold, was a Manager/chef in the early 1900's and I can't find a record of his death.
