The mystery of the disappearance of Evan Evans (b. c1812-1816), my G GF, been solved. He died on 11 Feb 1843 in Garndiffaith, Trevethin, MON. Cause of death was Decline, which evidently meant Tuberculosis, given his relative youth (age 34). He was found concealed in the BMD behind a transcription error which set forth his forename as "Ewan". One would think that the fuzzy search for "Evan" would have turned it up, but it didn't, and there you are. Thanks again to all who took an interest in the case. Regards, Cecil
