    1. [MON] Innkeepers records

I was at the Gwent RO this morning looking at innkeepers records I looked at alehouse recognizances which they have from 1810-1815, a few others are listed in the quarter sessions minute books for the 1820s. There appears to be a gap in the records for the mid 1800s. The records I was looking at in the Caldicot hundred gave the parish, name of licensee, name of surety and amount he had to pay, for Abergavenny hundred upper division the pub sign was also given.
