Hello Barbara, I have all of the census records including 1871.My g-g grandmother was a widow by then and five of the children were with her-address was 6 3rd Row George Town,Tredegar.The 1861 census indicates that James was married and his wife's name was Elizabeth.Edwin also was married and his wife's name was Mary-address was 60 Morgan st. Bedwellty,Tredegar.They were Iron Puddlers.I live in Sharon,Pa.--what local newspapers? Have you looked at any Census records for the siblings and located any marriage records for them, which area of Bedwellty were they living.
