Hello everyone I am new to the site and would be interested in finding out any and all information available on my fathers side of the family coming from Usk, Wales. Here is a bit of information that I have from a Welsh birth certificate for my Gr. Gr. Grandfather: Born 15 May 1841 at Usk Name: William Price Father: Edward Price Occupation-Mason Mother: Martha Price (Maiden name: Morgan) Edward Price was the person that gave the information for the Birth Certificate. He listed his address as Church Street and information was gathered on 2 June 1841. William came to the US sometime before 21 May 1872, have been unsuccessful in finding any information about where he traveled from in the UK and when exactly. I would be interested in finding out if there are still houses on Church Street and how to find out exactly where they lived and also would be most interested in finding out about any buildings that might have been constructed by my gr. Gr. Grandfather. Would there be any information available about Masonry guilds?? As I said earlier, any and all information would be greatly appreciated!
