    3. FREEHOLD MANOR and ESTATES, MONMOUTHSHIRE In the middle of the ensuing month of May will be offered for SALE by PUBLIC AUCTION, in lots, at Newport, and of which timely notice will be given. PART of the ESTATES in this county of the late ROBERT HUNTER, Esquire, deceased; consisting of the HONOUR MANOR, or LORDSHIP of CAERLEON CUM NETHERWENT, with it Rights, Royalties, Rents, &c. the Market-house Tolls and Duties of Fairs and Markets in the town of Caerleon, and sundry capital FARMS in the several parishes of Christchurch, Wilerick, Caerleon, and Llangattock, known by the names of the Red Barn, Panteous, and Bearhouse Farms. The Merches, the Forge Lands, and Orchard, the Mill Meadow and Angel Piece, containing together (exclusive of the Manor) about 400 Acres of excellent Arable, Meadow, Pasture, and Wood Land. N.B. The above Farms will be sold in separate lots to be hereafter specified. The Meadows neat the town of Caerleon will be divided into small lots to suit the convenience of the inhabitants. And about the end of the ensuing month of May, will also be offered for SALE by PUBLIC AUCTION, in one lot, in London, of the time and place of sale early notice will be given. The Remainder of the ESTATES in the said county, of the late Robert HUNTER. Esq. deceased, consisting of the capital FARMS and WOOD, called the St. Julian’s, Llanllecha, Duckpool, and Steps Farms, and St Julian’s Wood, situate in the parish of Christchurch, aforesaid, containing about 653 Acres of excellent Arable, Meadow, Pasture, and Wood Land; and a valuable Fishery adjoining thereto, in the river Usk, now let to Messrs. JONES and Co. at the yearly rent of £63. The last-mentioned Farms and Wood are n a ring-fence, and form one of the most beautiful and desirable Estates in the county, bounded on the north by the Usk, and on the south by the turnpike-road from Cardiff to Bristol; and are let on leases of 21 years, expiring in 1816 and 1817, at the low annual rent of £632 12s (exclusive of St Julian’s Wood of 132 Acres which is in hand). Printed particulars and conditions of sale will be ready for delivery early in April, 1814 and may be then had of Mr. PROTHEROE, Solicitor, Newport, at the chief Inns in the neighbourhood and adjoining counties; at the Auction Mart, near the Bank of England; and of Mr. Maurice THOMAS, Solicitor, New Boswell-court, Lincoln’s-inn, London, where, and at Mr. PROTHEROE’s Office, Plans of the Estates may be seen.
