Hello, I myself have searched the full death index records on Ancestry and there is no death record for a William David Powel in 1924. Have you obtained his death certificate to inform you of his age at death, this would tell you the name of the informant and would possibly give you a clue as to the address of that person who may also have lived at Glen View. Ynysddu comes under the Parish of Mynyddislwyn and the records are kept at Gwent Records office and the registration of the Death would be at Newport Registry Office. And regarding Electoral Lists for 1924 these again would need to be searched in person either at Newport Main Library or at the Records Office in Cwmbran.I do understand that this would be impossible for you because of being overseas so I have written contact details below for you.
