Hello Mick, Thanks for the reply, but both Dawn and Jon found my Bryan in the 1861 for England but his name had a "T" added to make it Bryant! Then in the 1851, his name was given as Brion! As I couldn't find him, I only wondered if he was in Ireland as there seems to be a lot of Bryans from there. But thank you anyway Roy -------Original Message------- From: Michael McAllister Date: 03/01/07 11:32:58 To: monmouthshire@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MON] Irish Census Hi Roy, there are no Irish censuses online.......yet! The only censuses that are available are the 1901 and 1911, with a very minimal 1851. All Irish censuses are street indexed only, so a name search will take forever and a day. It may also help if you knew where in Ireland your BRYAN came from. As I was looking through on Ancestry, I couldn't help but notice that a lot of Bryans came from Ireland,so,my question is,how do I get into the Irish census?Just in case he was there.
