Hi, Jane, I'm sorry to say that I don't have any of the records I listed, other than those of my own family. Unfortunately, I don't have any Murphy's or Desmond's either. I had a quick look on www.ancestry.co.uk and can't find any of the names you mention in Monmouthshire on any of the censuses. It would help if you could provide as much information as you have, especially the names and ages/dates of birth of the children, ages/dates of birth for their parents and the parents occupations. I don't know if you have any information of the later generations, but it is usually a lot easier to start with yourself and work backwards. I hope that is of some use and that your research goes well.
