OK so I have been watching the messages and trying to figure out why some are arriving without anything in them and I think I have one reason now. Some of you are using incredimail, or something like it, where you can have a lovely background picture and all sorts of whistles and bells on your messages. unfortunately Rootsweb servers only accept plain text messages so they are stripping out everything including your information and then passing on the blank message. PLease can you make sure that before you send the message you click on format on the menu bar and then plain text. this should at least give the message more chance of surviving the server snippers and will reduce the amount of time I spend sorting out messages that have been held for no apparent reason.
