Looking for Powell ewdwards all we know is that his daughter Mary married a John Jones in 1844 at the Parish Church of Aberystruth.They were resident at time in Nantyglo.Mary was born in 1826.

Found 10 or 12 Mary Edwards in Monmouthshire in the 1841 census - none living in Nantyglo and none with a father called Powell. Couldn't find a Powell Edwards anywhere - is it possible his name could have been Howell or Hywel?
