Hi All I have a Death Certificate for a William KNIGHT who is my 2nd great grand father, dated 17 March 1855 in the Parish of Bedwellty. Cause of death "Accidentally Killed by Steam Engine" and age 38 years, the death is registered by "W H Brewer, Deputy Coroner, Blackwood". Whilst the year is around where I expected it to be the age does not match my other information on William. William married Mary THOMAS 23 November 1853 at Newport RO at age 22 and place of residence Machen, their daughter Jane was born in Bedwas the next year which is Mary's home town. Googling for inquest information and possible newspapers for the area and time have proved fruitless, can someone point me in another direction to locate more information on this death??? Thank you John Hot and very dry Mandurah Western Australia
