Hi Roy, Not John replying but am able to point you to these transcripts.  I think Glenda was probably referring to Mike John's web page at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~monfamilies/monfh.htm If you scroll down the page, you will see Monmouthshire Parish Records and Blaenafon is in there. Mike is possibly the most knowledgeable and prolific genealogist in Monmouthshire and, with the help of his list members, has put together the information on his web page.  Because different people have done the transcriptions, the data is not all presented in the same way.
