    3. Western Mail Friday May 14th 1926.   (Strike Edition). OBITUARY. The burial took place at the Jewish Cemetery, Cefn Coed, on Thursday of Mr. Julius PRAG, of 7, Meyrick Villas, Merthyr, secretary and registrar for the local Hebrew Congregational Church. Aged 70 years, he was the son of the late Rev. Jacob PRAG, at one time professor of Hebrew. He emigrated to Australia as a lad, and after his return to England in 1878 he settled in Merthyr, where he established an outfitters' and jewelry business. Instituted as a master in 1901, he was the first Hebrew to occupy the chair of the loyal Cambrian Lodge of Freemasons. He was an ex-president of the Merthyr Chamber of Trade and a former treasurer of the local Library association. The officiating minister at the funeral was the Rev. E. BLOOM, Merthyr. Mrs. Price JONES, wife of a well-known Cardiff, shipbroker, died at her residence Brynrhos, Romilly Park, Barry, on Thursday. A large number of members of the R.A.O.B. attended the funeral at Newport of Mr. George HINE, who was 71 years of age and had spent 60 years in the town. Mr. Joseph THOMAS, a well-known Swansea Insurance Agent has died at his residence 41, Henrietta-street in his 74th year. After serving a term at the local bank he was associated with certain dock shipping firms, and subsequently established himself in business for himself as insurance agent. He was for many years organist at Brunswick Chapel, and was much interested in musical matters locally. The death took place at the residence of his son, ex-councillor E.E. WILLIAMS, Prescelly, Colcot-road, Barry of Mr. Edward WILLIAMS, of Spittalls, Pembrokeshire at the age of 76 years. Mr. WILLIAMS was one of the best known men in Pembrokeshire. Whilst on a visit to his son he had a heart attack about a month ago and never recovered. He had been a member of the Spittalls Parish Council for many years, was one of the local school managers, and for the past fifty years had been one of the leading figures in Church circles in Pembrokeshire. The death has occurred of Mr. Joseph WILLIAMS, of Market-square, Pontypridd, at the age of 91. Mr. WILLIAMS who was a native of Pontllanfraith, came to the town about fifty years ago, and for a long time conducted the Cambrian Restaurant in Market-square. He was a worshipper at the Tabernacle Chapel. He leaves three daughters and two sons. John Patrick
