I have recently been tracing the descendants of George Dowle of Portskewett who married Hannah Davies at Cardiff in 1875. They then went to live in Portskewett where Hannah's uncle Edward Davies was the incumbent. I would be interested in corresponding with anyone with similar interests. My connection is to Hannah Davies, though it is a long way back. Her grandmother Joan Charles (nee Philip) of Llandaff was the sister of my ancestor James Philip of Llandaff.
