    3. Everyone on the list should have received one copy of my message to Graham and it should have come from the mailing list address. - except Graham who should have received one with the list address and one with his own address. This seems like a good opportunity to remind people that when they reply to a message they should edit out all surplus information and only keep what is relevant to their reply. As all messages are retained in the archives this helps to reduce the amount of space............... I know it is only a minute bit but every little helps Ann Macey In sunny and warm Newport South Wales -----Original Message----- Subject: Re: [MON] All Quiet on the Monmouthshire front H Ann Only received the one copy Ian Moody On 1/07/2013 10:08 AM, King Marjorie wrote: > Well I got Graham's, but no 2 copies, seems i am still subscribed! > > > Marjorie King >

    3. It's like a class at school. One kid gets sick, comes to school and infects lots of others in the same class. Somebody on our list got a virus. It sent messages to everyone in his or her address book. MonGenes was in the address book, so we all got these messages. People on our list clicked the link and got infected too, so now their computers are sending the messages out too. This is not the fault of MonGenes, its moderators, or Yahoo. These are legitimate list members whose computers have been compromised. It seems like a lot, but it's really only a few compared to how many list members we have. It takes less than a second to recognize one of these messages and delete it. Chill out, delete it and be patient while the moderators sort this out. And for Pete's sake, don't click on the link!
