Several things are possible - You could possibly contact Rick, the Newton Co. web page host, & see if you scanned & sent it to him if he would post it there. You could transcribe everything that pertains to this area & post to the list. Then it would stay in the rootsweb archives & be searchable. Additionally, either way, I'd love to have a copy to use in a future edition of ROOTS, the Newton Co. genealogy publication. Is this by chance one of the newspapers I've seen advertised on e-bay? I wondered about them & have been very tempted to bid on one. Above all, thanks for sharing your discovery with the list & I'm sure several will help you pursue this question. ----- Original Message ----- From: <AMEON79@aol.com> To: <MONEWTON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, November 10, 2000 10:13 PM Subject: Re: [MONEWTON] Fortress Monroe > Joy I read this over and over and it talks about alot of Missouri history. The > Newspaper itself is The New York times June 18;1861.Its several pages and > will take awhile to rewrite and send.Where would or how would I share > it?Thank you Norma Jean > > > ==== MONEWTON Mailing List ==== > Newton County, Missouri MOGenWeb > http://www.rootsweb.com/~monewton/newton.html > > ============================== > Create a FREE family website at MyFamily.com! > http://www.myfamily.com/banner.asp?ID=RWLIST2
