Is there a connection between your Adkins and Frosts? What time frame were they in Newton County? My Frost hooked up with Adkins and later Ashcraft in the Cass/Bates counties area in the 1830's and 40's and came to Barry County in 1846. Believe others, at least the Adkins, settled in Newton County? They had a propensity for the reuse of Wyatt and Owen as given names because both (as surnames) previously intermarried with Adkins.
