    3. Does anybody have any information or know where I can find info on the 10th Kansas Volunteer Infantry? My GG Grandfather, Thomas J Mitchell/Mitchel/Michel, enlisted with Co F of the 10th KS Inf (3 Mar 1863 - 30 Aug 1865). Thomas Mitchell (1840 - 1914)is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, N of Granby. His children married and lived around the Granby area. Nancy Hannah Mitchell m. John Crouch Sarah 'Sallie' Mitchell m. William White Artie Samantha Mitchell m. Jesse Fullerton Clarence Manzole Mitchell m. Edith Fullerton Amy Mitchell m. Phillip (no relation) Mitchell Ruth Mitchell m. 1st George McDaniel, 2nd William White Lucy Mitchell m. Mora/Mory 'Mode' White Thomas Mitchell m. Inez Johnson Anna Mitchell m. Horace Laurance and Earl Benintendi I am trying to find out who Thomas Mitchell's parents were. I've tried locating a death certificate - but no luck. I'll try again with the alternative spelling (Michel) and will send for copies of his service records. His father was from Georgia his mother Virginia and they were closely aligned with the 'OWEN(S) family of Lawrence Co. Anybody know anything about these early Mitchells or the Kansas Inf? Thanks, Linda
