Previously, I had seen some of these but not all. Giving credit to the Farm Bureau for these photos may be in error, however, as I believe they were produced in connection with the USDA Farm Security Administration, a forerunner to the Farmers Home Administration. I worked for the FHA in New Madrid in the 1950s. ( I believe this agency now has a new name.) Your sharing is a godsend to historians as well as to genealogists. My book about New Madrid from its beginnings to the start of the 20th century was published in 2009 and I am working on another. So, again, thanks.
