Stephen married Odile Grimard in New Madrid in 1835. Their children were: Stephen (Jr.), Therese, Washington, and Antoinette. Odile's brother, Xavier Grimard, married Emilie Deneger in 1835. Would like to find out what happened to their daughter, Permelia Grimard, born about 1837. Odile's mother, Francaise DesRousse Paquette Grimard, was also married to a St. Marie after the death of her 2nd husband, Jean Baptiste Grimard. She married Louis Ste. Marie in New Madrid in 1821.
