I heard you were in New Madrid recently and city hall was gracious enough to give me your phone number. It seems you have done your research, but I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. BTW: although it has always been "billed" as the last legal hanging in Missouri, the last actually occurred in Galena on May 21, 1937. After that, the state used the gas chamber.
